san antonio, texas proposal - she said yes!
I was so excited when Robert contacted me about shooting his proposal to Severin! We love San Antonio, and when he told me he wanted to ask her to marry him somewhere near the Riverwalk, I knew it was going to be a beautiful proposal. After a romantic breakfast at the historic St. Anthony Hotel, he walked her out to as gorgeous horse-drawn carriage where his sweet nieces were waiting with a sign and some gifts. Severin was so excited to see the girls that she was truly surprised when she turned around and Robert was on one knee! After that, we did a mini engagement session, tried to make friends with Ginger the horse (she was a little moody!), and celebrated with his nieces! The blissful morning was capped off with, of course, a carriage ride around Downtown San Antonio to the Riverwalk.
One thing I love about shooting proposals is seeing how much thought and effort the soon-to-be groom puts in to it. They are such special opportunity for him to really take the reigns (pun intended!) and plan out a meaningful, romantic day that they will remember for years!
